Today my parents saw the Acropolis while I was in class. We then met up and drove back to Erin's. After pooping out for a little bit out of exhaustion, we had to think of something to do.
Jet lag can be hard to work with since the time difference is so big (7 hours). If we stopped moving for too long, my parents would pass out.
We decided to climb up Lykavittos hill to get to the highest point in Athens, with a small church and a beautiful view. I'm not sure how my parents did this and the Acropolis in the same day, but more power to them. It wasn't too bad of a hike, but just enough to get you a little winded by the time you hit the top.
You could see how tired my parents were, so we headed back to Erin's and just ordered some take-out to fill our bellies. I'm sure you can guess what I got, Greek salad. Typical. Delicious. Feta love affair.
