Yes, this is the reaction I get from everyone. For me it is quite different. I wake up to immediately thinking of how many days until I leave and before I go to bed I get excited to drop a day from my countdown when I wake the next day. In case you were wondering, we are at 17 days. And this is, if we must be specific, about 17 days and 2 hours until I actually arrive in Athens. About 16 1/2 days until I depart. Can you tell I'm excited? And surprisingly, having a countdown hasn't made this time go slower, in fact it seems to be going quite speedy.
I am a little worried that I am not spending enough time with my family because I know I will be homesick when I leave. It's not that I'm never home, cause I really only go out on the weekends. Its more of I feel sick and tired when I get home from work and lock myself in my room and camp out on my bed all night. I'm working on it though.
I've been doing random stuff to get ready for Greece, such as doctor appointment, eye doctor appointment, soon I will be getting my hair dyed back to its natural color underneath, and getting a fitting for my bridesmaid dress for Dave and Noelle's wedding (they are all getting together and doing this while I am away). I also have to go shopping for quite a few things and get everything ready to go. 17 days is gonna fly by. It's craaaay.
Anyways, I don't have much exciting to blog about but I haven't done it in a while so I thought I'd send out some love. So in case you were curious, I am still alive and breathing. My life is the same routine every day as it has been. Still no significant men in my life and I plan on keeping it that way. Soooooo yes here is to a boring post!
