refreshed

What a fabulous weekend. I arrived at Messiah a little after 2 on Saturday and by 3 I was on my way to Kyle's with Justin and Holly. We spent hours on the 4-wheeler. SO FUN. We also attached a sled to the back of it and went "sledding" which was ridiculous. My body took quite a beating. Following that, Mal, Holly and I went to Neato Burrito. Most of you haven't heard of this place but it is my favorite. People argue that Chipotle is better but there is no way. No comparison. One cowboy crunch burrito and a food coma later, I wound up with Mal and Phil playing some real intense foosball. THEN we went to some random dance.
Here is a sidenote: I love Messiah dances. Though they are SO lame, if you go with the right people then they are great. Coming from a public high school where the only form of dancing was grinding, Messiah dances are comical. Grinding? Frowned upon. Instead, we all look awkward and sway back and forth. So here is the key, act like a fool. It was easy enough for me because my mentality was, "well by the time I get back from Greece everyone will forget how stupid I look right now." It was ridiculous. I haven't laughed so hard in a really long time and I needed it.
Continuing on, Phil left, and Mal Holly and I met up with some friends at Bakers Diner. I ate 8 slices of bacon for 2.50, what a steal. Bacon is my favorite. So we got back at close to 3am and headed to bed.
Today was a more low key day, church, lunch, naptime, and catch up with people time. I got to have a wonderful chat with Kira, who is basically the same person as me. It's crazy how similar our lives are in the love department.
So now I am back home, in my cozy bed, and missing Messiah already. I got a full week of work ahead of me and dreading it. I feel great though, because the weekend was THAT good. I am happy.
