here we go

Here is to a new beginning. A new blog (mainly because I forgot the password to my old one). New job, new adventures, and great friends.  Let me begin. I am currently a junior at Messiah College, but I am not studying there this semester. Instead, on March 25th I will be departing from the country to study abroad in GREECE. I'm stoked. Since I have so much free time on my hands, I got a full-time job working as a substitute at Garrett's Way Daycare. Some days I fill in as a teacher in the preschool part of the daycare, and other days I work with infants and toddlers.  The ups? I'm getting paid and I love the people I work with.  The kids are pretty great too. The downs? Changing poopy diapers, getting peed on while changing diapers, screaming babies and a sore back from lifting babies all day.  Anyhow, so when I am not at work, you can probably find me at my house either knitting, sleeping, or reading a book. If I'm not there, then I'm with my best friend Jaimie Maher. Boom. My life. I have two other best friends who reside at Messiah College, Holly Craven and Mallory Wood. I also have a whole ton of close friends besides them that all mean a ton to me.  I am single; new addition to my life. I am now investing in time for me, because it has always been about other people, and I have neglected myself.  Me time starts now. This is why I decided to restart my blogs, because it has always been "well this friend..." or "omg this guy I met..." This ends now. I will blog about my days, my plans and my feelings. Welcome to my mind.
